Whether your long-distance best friend has a birthday coming up or your old College of Charleston buddies just got engaged, sometimes getting beautiful flowers delivered remotely can be a hassle. Those big online flower delivery websites charge astronomical delivery fees for mediocre flowers. How does one go about ordering flowers locally when you don’t live in the area? Here are our tips on how to order beautiful flowers for your Charleston friends:

Give Charleston Flower Market a Ring:

Let’s say you’ve looked through our photo gallery but are still unsure of which flower arrangement you want to send. Give us a call and let’s chat about the occasion, the recipient's style preference, and perhaps their favorite flowers. Our florists can either help you choose the perfect arrangement or create a custom bouquet tailored to the recipient. We can work with you on getting the most bang (or bloom) for your buck within your price range.

Check the Delivery Range:

You can check this page to view the two different zones that we deliver to.  Essentially, we divide our delivery area into two zones, the first zone being closest to our store, and the second zone those areas a little further away. We offer same-day delivery for zone one when you place an order before 12:00 PM and next-day delivery for zone two. If you’re in a crunch and need an arrangement ordered on the fly, give us a call, and we’ll see what we can do!

Where Our Flowers Come From:

All the flowers in our shop stem from small farmers. (pun intended). Although all of our flowers aren’t from local, South Carolina farms, they are from independent businesses. We order blooms from all across the country to ensure a wide range of flower varieties (not just those that are in season here in South Carolina). So, an order placed with Charleston Flower Market isn’t only helping us, but it’s providing support to small flower farmers across the United States. Talk about a small shop making a big impact!

Get More Value for Your Money:

Ordering from local farms means that we are able to buy flowers for less and therefore sell you a bouquet for much less than what large online corporations charge. We believe beautiful flower arrangements don’t have to come with a luxury price tag. In fact, it has been our goal to make flowers affordable by buying directly from the farms and turning over the product very quickly by offering it at fair prices.

Think Outside The Box:

If you browse some of our most popular bouquets on our site, you’ll notice our arrangements often feature unique blends of flowers, colors and heights. We want to ensure each bouquet we put together is as uniquely beautiful as the person receiving it, so our arrangements might differ from what you see on those big flower delivery websites. With each bouquet we deliver, the beauty of each individual bloom will work together to create a stunning arrangement anyone will love to receive.

If you need a trustworthy local florist who will live up to your expectations, give Charleston Flower Market a call for any occasion! We’re here to create custom arrangements for delivery to your friends and family in the Charleston area!

Louise Thackeray - Libby,
we can definitely include a peony or two in the unicorn arrangement, just include the request in the comments section when you order. We do have 2 arrangements that focus on peonies, but I don't think they are "live" on our website at the moment.. we have one at $80 and another at $155, and both focus on peonies but do include other seasonal flowers as well.
Libby Jones - Hello! I would like to send some flowers to my goddaughter and her mom next week for her bday. They live in Mt. Pleasant, and I live in London. I love the Unicorn pot. Do you have peonies in stock, or will you for delivery next week? Can you tell me my options for an arrangement that includes peonies, and would it be possible to include these in the unicorn arrangement? Many thanks, Libby
